For most of these kids this is their first organised anything. We keep it simple: one weekday session, one Saturday morning game, and a coach whose only job is to make sure every kid wants to come back next week.

• Small-sided everything. 3v3 and 4v4 — more touches, more goals, more reasons to celebrate.
• Every child plays half the game. Minimum. It's a rule, not a goal.
• Parents on the touchline, not the field. Sessions are run by club coaches with parent team-managers handling the snack schedule.
• Full kit included. Shirt, shorts and socks come with registration.
