Programs & Pathway

Start Anywhere.
Keep Going.

A player is not locked into the team they join. Movement between programs happens every window, and the standard on each rung is published so nobody has to guess what the next level asks for.

01

Coast Soccer League

Where most players start. Run by the Coast Soccer League, the longest-standing competitive youth league in Southern California, with local weekend fixtures and a first look at playing inside a club structure rather than a rec team.

02

SOCAL League

The SOCAL League brings together clubs from across Southern California in a tiered flight structure, so teams are placed against opponents at their own level and move between flights as they develop.

03

National League N1

The step up from regional play. National League N1 sits within the US Youth Soccer national structure and is governed in our area by the SOCAL League, putting teams against programs from outside the region in a season built around qualifying play.

04

EA2 — Academy Foundation

Entry into the full academy structure and the club curriculum that runs through every level above it. Every player gets an individual development plan reviewed each trimester.

05

EA1 & DPL

Two parallel programs at the same level. EA1 carries the boys pathway against the strongest academy sides in the region. DPL is the girls pathway and now sits under the Girls Academy pyramid, giving players GA showcase events and college recruiting exposure from U15 upward.

06

MLS NEXT Academy Division

The top of the boys pathway at Oaks. MLS NEXT runs two tiers, and Oaks FC competes in the Academy Division — not the Allstate Homegrown Division, which is made up of the MLS club academies and MLS NEXT Elite Academies. The Academy Division is organized regionally, permits high school soccer, and feeds the same MLS NEXT Cup playoffs and national events as the tier above it.

The Academy Pathway

The Path To
College & Pro.

Our structure functions as a dynamic, bi-directional pathway where player movement is driven entirely by developmental needs. Whether an MLS NEXT athlete requires additional match minutes in EA1 or an in-form EA2 player earns a promotion, placement across tiers remains fluid and purposeful.

Our coaching staffs collaborate seamlessly across all levels to align on player growth, ensuring every athlete is positioned to reach collegiate or professional pathways and achieve their full potential.
